Grande Centre Point Lumphini Bangkok

The room on the 40th floor gave us incredible views of Bangkok, especially after dark, and the pool's city outlook made it a lovely place to relax in the heat. Breakfast was another highlight, with a huge, high-quality selection and a beautiful, roomy dining area that never felt too crowded. We really enjoyed the stay. The snag came with late checkout. Our flight was at midnight, so we paid an extra $80, but were told we couldn't use the facilities like the playroom afterward. That was disappointing, and we expected more flexibility and better treatment for a hotel at this price. We even had to wait at reception, which didn't feel very premium. Still, the room, pool and breakfast made it a great experience.

Newly completed at the end of 2025, the hotel felt very clean and fresh. One Bangkok shopping mall is an easy walk away, and MRT Lumphini station is about five minutes on foot. Our room was spacious, with a nice view, electric blinds and strong AC. There’s an infinity pool on the same floor as the gaming room, where you’ll find ping-pong, darts, pinball and pool tables. Connecting rooms are available too, which makes it a good option for families visiting Bangkok.

The staff were fantastic, so kind and a big part of what made the stay special. The hotel feels luxurious all the way in, with lovely rooms, an impressive gym with new equipment and even better views, plus a top-notch pool, sauna, onsen spa and breakfast. The approach road gives you a sense of the luxury before you even arrive. A few small issues didn't take away from the five-star experience. We were disappointed by rooftop level 50. We went up at 10:30pm hoping for a drink, but it was closed and is only open as a restaurant anyway. The Banyan Tree down the road has drinks and incredible views. Here, no such luck. The poolside menu also fell short, and some items listed on the menu app were missing. Alcoholic drinks weren't shown in the app, though you could order them by asking. Beer was fine, but the only wine available was Jacob’s creek.

The location worked really well for us, right across from one Bangkok mall, with a 7-Eleven next to the lobby and easy walking around. The hotel is new, clean and well maintained. We also appreciated the complimentary room treats, soft drinks, coffee and tea from the Nespresso machine. Our two teenagers, aged 14 and 16, had a blast in the huge game gym and gaming room, with activities for toddlers through adults. They didn't want to leave! Staff were super friendly and service was top notch. Since we're vegetarians, the team was also very accommodating and took special care to make a separate breakfast for our family.
