Happy Station Bangkok

Getting around was easy since the hostel is steps from the railway station and underground. The place is spotless and well kept, with fast Wi-Fi, a comfortable lounge, a fully stocked kitchen, and a small rooftop terrace for catching the sunset. I had a private room, but the open layout let me see the dorms too. They looked tidy and comfortable, and those bunks honestly looked better than beds in plenty of hotels. Staff were warm, friendly, and so helpful from the moment I arrived, making check-in easy. I was impressed by the cleanliness, organization, and genuine hospitality, and would come back, maybe for a dorm bed to enjoy the communal atmosphere.

The double bed was incredibly comfortable, and the hostel had a peaceful feel. I slept really well in my own little cocoon. There are returning long-term guests, and together with the staff they give the place a warm, family-like atmosphere. As a Belgian on my first solo trip in Thailand, I was nervous about hostel noise and cleanliness. Those worries faded as soon as I arrived at Happy Station Bangkok. Every staff member was kind and friendly, and they took time to get to know me. The place is exceptionally clean down to the details. I made my bed every morning, but staff remade it; shoes aren't allowed in rooms, though slippers are fine, and they even refolded my towel. Lilly, the boss lady, is lovely, caring, and strong, definitely not someone to mess with 🫶. It was nearly my birthday, and after I'd already left, Lilly surprised me with a small present. That says a lot about how much she cares. I couldn't have asked for a better stay and would recommend this hostel 100%.

The lobby has a relaxed atmosphere, with a restaurant on site, a pool table, and board games. Wi-Fi was reliable, and the place brings together hotel comfort and a social hostel feel. They offer private rooms as well as shared dorms, all clean and well organized. The staff were friendly and ready to help, and being close to the MRT made it easy to reach Bangkok's main spots.

The double room was spacious, and the mattress was so comfortable that I slept really well. Staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. There's a 7-Eleven close by, a couple of massage shops around the corner, and the MRT is nearby for getting across Bangkok. I really enjoyed my time at Happy Station Bangkok and would recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere clean, comfortable, and convenient.
