The narrow road and parking area can be awkward, especially if you have a larger car. Once you get there, though, the peaceful riverside setting makes the inconvenience easier to accept. Hiranyakul House is a calm, private place to slow down by the water, with a charming, elegant feel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, quiet, and well kept. Waking up to the river view was lovely, and the thoughtful details made the place feel warm rather than commercial. The restaurant was another bright spot. The food was flavorful and enjoyable in that relaxed setting, and the service stayed friendly, attentive, and polite throughout our stay. A nice option for a quiet riverside visit.

Way too expensive, and the food wasn’t tasty. The only dish I liked was the crab omelet, and that cost 720 baht. I wouldn’t recommend it, a waste of time and money.

The place felt like home, and my wife and I enjoyed our time there. We paid around 8000 baht for two nights, which felt worth it. The staff were kind and humble, and Miss Kitty (or Tikky, sorry, I don’t clearly remember the name) was a fabulous host. There weren’t enough restaurant options for us as vegetarians, though we understand Thailand is a major seafood-consuming country. I wish there were more hotels like this in the city. The owner’s taste is top-notch, from the interior and authentic teak furniture to the wooden floors, fabric tissue bags, unusual basin tap, and refreshing welcome drink. It all felt made with a lot of care. If we’d had more time, I would have liked to meet the owner and praise the place in person. Thanks for making our stay memorable. We hope to visit again.

A few mosquitoes on the balcony were the one downside. Otherwise, this riverside restaurant on the Chao Phraya felt like a hidden gem. It was a little hard to find, but the quiet atmosphere, lovely view, friendly welcome, and surprisingly delicious food made it worthwhile. Some may find the prices high, though they seemed in line with the quality and experience. I wish I’d found it sooner.

I came for the view and wasn’t disappointed. The sunset is five-star, and the grilled river prawn was so good I want to go back. Apart from the fancy tea set, the other food is more like comforting Thai home cooking. The location is great, with cafes, restaurants, and pra artit within walking distance, though parking is limited. The room was spacious and felt like home.
