While waiting for a canal boat tour in temperatures above 37C, I spotted a sign for Ghee Gelato House and went in for something cold. It’s a nice building, with seating upstairs. The gelato was good too, a lovely place to cool off.

There’s a nice range of gelato, and the upstairs has seats too. We tried Pistachios and Salted Caramel, and both were perfect. It’s in old town Bangkok, within walking distance of Wat Pho.
The best gelato ever! Rich and authentic, like eating in Italy. Definitely worth trying in this heat 😍🥰🍦
My friend’s sea salt caramel and lemon pie flavors were the stars. The caramel was so good, and not cloyingly sweet like most I’ve tried. I could have kept eating it. The lemon pie had a sharp tang and creamy pie texture that was just right. I’d ordered sea salt pistachio and dark chocolate after students ahead of me recommended sea salt caramel. My two flavors were okay, with decent texture for the price. The shop itself was dark and cramped, which didn’t make sitting there pleasant.
We eat a lot of ice cream, and this is easily the best we’ve had in Bangkok. It’s not even close. Give it a try! #DubaiChocolate4Life
