Holiday Inn Bangkok Silom by IHG

Yo-Yo at the concierge deserves a special mention. He greeted us from the first day through our departure, always smiling and ready to help. He answered our Bangkok questions and made time for friendly conversation, which helped us feel at home each day. Reception staff were kind and accommodating from check-in onward, including helping us find our way around the hotel and to Bangkok's best attractions. Both restaurants had a broad range of tasty international food, and the restaurant staff were warm and appreciative of our custom. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

We planned to stay eight days, then move on. We ended up staying five weeks, and we're coming back next year even though we don't normally revisit the same city. Yoyo always checked in on how we were doing, which was a lovely touch. The location made daily life easy. We walked to around eight vegan restaurants, nearby markets and malls, and attractions including the Skywalk. We also walked to Chinatown twice. There are massage shops along Silom, a nearby nightclub we visited, a nail place close by, and even a dentist, all within walking distance. The downside is there's no washer or dryer on site, and street noise, especially ambulance sirens, can get loud. The staff were friendly throughout. From the moment our Bolt pulled up, someone opened the car doors and took our luggage, and check-in was simple. Our room was modern, clean, and well equipped. The bed and soft linen were comfortable, with four pillows, two firm and two soft. The bathroom was roomy, with a large shower that worked well for tall people and a rainfall head. The quiet AC, fridge, large TV, and kettle were useful, and the curtains blocked about 97% of the light. WiFi was very fast and reliable. We enjoyed breakfast every day and, as vegans, could always find something to eat. The breakfast staff were helpful and smiling. We really loved this place.

Silom was a convenient base for both work and leisure, with offices, restaurants, and transport easy to reach. The staff were polite, helpful, and efficient, so everything went smoothly. My room was clean, comfortable, and well cared for, with comfortable bedding and a setup that met international hotel standards. It was a relaxing place to come back to after a long day. A reliable, well-run choice for a Bangkok city stay.

Holiday Inn Silom has long been our favorite. We first stayed in 2012 for our honeymoon, and came back with our daughter. The staff made us feel so welcome and spoiled our little one. Thanya and Jing made check-in easy, and Thanya especially arranged a birthday cake for my daughter. Everyone helped make the stay comfortable, from security and the front desk to breakfast staff and room cleaners. Breakfast was amazing, and they made special masala tea for us every day. We'll miss it terribly and can't wait to plan our next trip. Thank you to all the staff at Holiday Inn Silom. ❤️ I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok who wants to enjoy their holiday.
