Hop Inn Bangkok Onnut Station

Five minutes from BTS Onnut, with a supermarket, 7 Eleven, and loads of food spots and restaurants nearby. The staff are super friendly, 10/10, and the hotel is very clean. They change the sheets daily and seem ready to do whatever you want. Free coffee in the mornings, too. Highly, highly recommended 🔥

Getting to Onnut station takes about four minutes on foot, and the location is excellent. The room was tiny but clean, just like other Hop Inn hotels. My one suggestion for management is to improve the AC, since it takes a while to cool the room down.

I’m a solo traveler, and Hop Inn Onnut made my first visit to Bangkok, and third to Thailand, much easier. The BTS is about 200m away, but you can also walk through the Tesco Lotus food court between the hotel and station, which means more air conditioning or a chance to grab a snack. The location is hard to beat. I stayed nine days. The staff were attentive and kind, and the service and cleanliness were top notch. When a bulb burned out in my room, housekeeping replaced it within minutes. Khun Piggy at the front desk noted that I didn’t need a daily toilet paper roll, which is great for families but more than a solo traveler like me needs. Khun Piggy, Khun Nini, and Khun Spy speak English really well and stand all day to greet guests warmly. The wifi was fantastic. I had several Zoom meetings and never needed to switch to cellular internet. I also appreciated the two 500ml glass water bottles in the room. I’ve never had glass bottles in a hotel in Asia before, and it was nice to drink from glass instead of adding to plastic waste. I’d gladly stay again.

Super helpful staff who speak English really well, and the rooms are spotless, fresh smelling, and have enough space, even if they aren’t big. There’s a tiny balcony where you can smoke. The location is great, with a supermarket and 7 eleven across the road, plus a huge food court and On Nut station just a three-minute walk away. I’d 100% stay here again if I’m in the area.
