iCheck inn Gems Center Silom

I've stayed at I Check Inn Gems Hotel for a long time, for both short visits and longer stays, and it's been one of my best hotel experiences. It's comfortable, clean, and well managed, with a welcoming, family-friendly feel. The team treats guests with kindness and respect, and I appreciate their service day after day. A special thank you to the receptionists Mai, Dream, and Spices. They're warm, kind, and always willing to help with anything I need. The rooms are great, and the service makes the hotel feel like home. Highly recommended.

The view from the room is amazing, especially seeing the king mahanakhon tower from bed in the early morning and at night. I also liked spending free time in the lobby, sitting and chatting over a beer or coffee. Nearby, it's easy to get to STARBUCKS, a few Indian restaurants, KFC, and the Lebanese food at nadimos Lebanese restaurant. The rooms are cozy, and public transport is easy to reach, which helps with trips to both DMK and BKK airports. Staff deserve special thanks for being respectful, friendly, and helpful. Spice and Dream were great, and so was MAI. Housekeeping and security staff MR. NOI were also among the best hotel staff I've met in Bangkok. They even helped me with laundry and made my stay comfortable. I highly recommend ICheck Inn Gems Centre Silom for the comfort, service, and view in the heart of Bangkok.

Everything you need is within walking distance from this hotel in a real hotspot. The lobby has free laundry, pool tables, a PlayStation, and complimentary coffee and tea. Dream, Spice, and Mai are friendly and focused on service, and they take time to answer questions. It's cozy there too, with nice people staying at the hotel. I'll definitely come back.

The room itself wasn't clean, and the bed, sofa, and bathroom were dirty. I also had a frightening problem with the hairdryer: when my girlfriend tried it, she got an electric shock and burned her hand, as shown in the attached image. Thankfully it didn't end in a hospital visit, but it was painful. I booked through the official website and was later charged twice for the same room, a total of 4803 Thai bat that I say was taken from me. I reported it at reception, where staff said I'd be refunded. I also contacted them by WhatsApp and email, but even after a month nothing had come through. I've reported it to my bank and hope to get the money back. I don't recommend this hotel at all.
