The location down an alley can make it tricky to find your way from Indra Square if you arrive on the A3 Bus. The room had okay soundproofing and shower pressure, but the AC blowing straight at the bed made me uncomfortable. Sometimes housekeeping skipped my room, so I had to ask the front office to send someone. Breakfast was decent. Staff were welcoming and really helpful: I got a welcome drink and goodbye snacks, and they helped arrange online transportation since most drivers couldn't speak English.

The service stayed poor throughout my visit. Staff were slow to respond and seemed uninterested, and every request felt like a struggle. I saw no proper training or sense of hospitality. My stay was frustrating from beginning to end, and I regret choosing this place. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone; one star is the most I can give. The first person I encountered was a bald male receptionist, whose attitude set the tone. He was rude, spoke disrespectfully, and acted as if doing his job was a bother. Instead of helping, he made check-in uncomfortable and made me feel like I was disturbing him by asking ordinary questions.

The check-in staff member did try to find a solution, and I appreciate their professionalism. The hotel also agreed to refund the nights I didn't use after I left following just one night of a four-night booking. I'd asked in advance for a quiet room on the top floor, but that request hadn't been considered when I arrived, which was disappointing. My room wasn't soundproof, and traffic noise carried on all day and night. Rooms are very small unless you get a corner one, like room 601 in the video, which feels less like a shoebox. But that room is next to the staff room, so you hear loud conversations and plastic bags from 6.30am. The shower and toilet are in the middle of the room, with no privacy if several people share it. If you're noise-sensitive or traveling with family, friends, or a partner, I don't recommend it. There are other hotels in the same neighborhood with more quiet and space.

Housekeeping didn't clean our room at all on the first of our three nights, saying the staff had already gone home. Breakfast was poor and bland: the mushroom soup was watery and tasteless, and the pasta was definitely not al dente. The location also wasn't as convenient as we'd expected, with BTS stations and main markets quite far away. The closest place was a 7-Eleven, where many tourists reportedly experience scams, and the Thai receipts made it hard to check what we'd bought. The worst part was being told to leave in the middle of the night because the hotel had failed to clearly explain the room's maximum guest count. The way it was handled caused unnecessary stress. We were first told the extra-person fee was 350 Baht, but the night before we were made to pay 4,500 Baht, which felt unreasonable and misleading. From the start, service was far below expectations. One male front desk worker was extremely rude and unprofessional toward us, particularly as international guests. It was an unpleasant stay, and management and treatment of guests, especially tourists, lacked basic friendliness and hospitality. I won't return and wouldn't recommend Metz Hotel Pratunam.

Staff were friendly and welcoming, and I had a great experience at Metz Pratunam Hotel. The room was a little tight, and opening two suitcases at once was difficult, but we managed. The toilet and shower are in separate areas. Toiletries included a shower cap, cotton buds, shower gel, and shampoo; I'm not sure whether toothbrushes and toothpaste were provided. Housekeeping came daily. It's about a 15-minute walk to Platinum Mall and around 5 minutes to Tofu SkinCare. There's a laundromat beside the hotel, plus a 711 and a few places to eat. The area gets lively at night, and I'd consider it safe for solo travelers. Breakfast is available every day, but you need to choose your meal the day before. Options include eggs, pasta, and soup, with self-serve salad, cereal, and bread alongside. You can eat outside food in the dining area anytime and ask staff to heat it. They were also kind enough to offer ice water. An ironing board is available on request, but there's only one, so you have to leave it outside your room after using it and request it again the next day.
