Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok

The view from our room was quite nice, but the stay didn’t start well. We expected a lot from a five-star hotel and were given an old room in poor condition, especially the bathroom, which needed serious restoration. We asked to move and the staff kindly found us a better room. Previous reviews suggest other guests have found cockroaches too. A well-known five-star chain should probably take that issue more seriously.

We started in a comfortable Junior Suite, and were pleased with its modern feel, quiet atmosphere, spacious layout and well-equipped facilities. After Phirom arrived, we asked the front desk about an upgrade. They handled the request courteously and professionally, then moved us to a One Bedroom Suite on the 27th floor. That suite had a separate bedroom and living room, a roomy bathroom and a beautiful city view. It was refined, well maintained and relaxing. The staff were friendly, efficient and professional throughout, and breakfast had a good selection and high quality. The facilities were clean and well organized too. Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok offers a comfortable, dependable stay, with good standards, a convenient location and strong service. We’d gladly return and recommend it. Best regards, Tom & Phirom

We stayed for two nights and had a great experience overall. Check-in was a little slow, but when my grandmother joined us on the second day, they let us switch to a communicating room, which we wanted. The gym was really nice and clean for a hotel, and the sauna was good. Happy hour ran from 5pm to 7pm, with some good quality drinks and really good banana chips. The location was great too, with a shopping mall and restaurants within walking distance.

The breakfast was the highlight for me. There was a broad mix of Asian, Indian, and European dishes, plus fruit, salads, fresh juices, and hot drinks. You could also ask for hot food cooked to order, like omelettes or fried eggs. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, and this buffet was the best I’ve had. The pool was lovely too, quiet and with a beautiful view, and there’s a bar right there. The whole team deserves credit for being so welcoming and helpful. Our room stayed cool, and the air conditioning worked perfectly.
