The short-stay hotels around Wacharaphon have a pretty decent atmosphere.

Last night was disappointing. In room A2, the pillows were flat even though the mattress was soft, and there wasn't a table to eat at. The bathroom door wouldn't lock, and the trash can needed a lid. The air conditioner barely cooled the room and could use a little more refrigerant.

I was a paying customer, not someone asking for a free stay. I only mentioned that the air conditioner wasn't cooling, and then you said all the customers had already booked. Is that really true? You also said I'd get a refund if I didn't stay. The way you spoke to me wasn't very polite.

The room was fairly priced, clean enough, and the air conditioning worked well. But the walls were thin, so outside sounds came through clearly, and the electricity would be shut off before noon. At night, the road leading in was so dark and poorly maintained that it was almost impossible to see.

B5 was a rough night: mosquitoes everywhere, an air conditioner that didn't cool, and a toilet that wouldn't flush. I barely slept. The room itself was new, had a TV with YouTube, and only cost 450 baht a night.
