The weekday stay was quiet. I met a few friendly backpackers, though it seemed most people were there to work and have a calm place while travelling. The free computer in the social room was useful for that. I’d stay again on a budget. It’s an affordable hostel with fast Wi-Fi, air-conditioned rooms, friendly staff, and a plug and reading lamp at every bed. The bathroom is okay but worn, with some wall hangers missing, and the third-floor water pressure is slow. I found the shoe rule funny: you leave your shoes on the second floor, so staying on the third means walking barefoot from there.

A rooftop terrace gives you great views across the Bangkok skyline, and the top floor also has a comfy hangout area with a kitchen, couches, and a big TV. The rooms are clean and have what you need. Staff are helpful and speak English. Great value, with lumphini mrt just a five-minute walk away.

I spent 8days here and tried the 12, 8, 6, and 4 bed rooms. The 12-bed room was best because it had more space, while the 4-bed one felt cramped and tiny. The showers are small, and some share space with a toilet and water hose/spray. On the 4th floor there’s a nice lounge with seating, computers, a TV, a mini bar, and a kitchen. The staff were nice and helpful. MRT Lumphini is 5 minutes away, the bus stop is 3 minutes away and has buses going everywhere, and 7-11 and the laundry are 100 and 15 steps away.

Getting around Bangkok is easy from this hostel, close to the MRT at Lumphini station and the bus station. You can take a bus, MRT, tuk tuk, or whatever suits you. The room was clean and cozy, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff speak good English. Recommended!

ETZZZ Hostel is a nice, clean, budget-friendly place in central Bangkok, very near Lumpini Metro Station and convenient for tourist spots. The building is brand new and has A/C. Staff are friendly, and there’s a bank nearby for exchanging money at a good rate. Booking online is easy, and it’s good value for money. It felt safe and peaceful. Best wishes to all the staff.
