Khaosan Station Hostel

**Stayed here for 3 nights in a double bedroom in Nov 2025** The walk up to our room on the 4th floor got tiring on holiday. There’s no elevator, which was surprising. Still, it was a decent stay for the price, with a very convenient location: hardly 5 mins from Khaosan Road and Chao Praya Ferry Terminal, with plenty of shops around. Our cozy double room had decent amenities and a good bathroom. Staff were helpful and available at all times. The common area had a fridge, microwave, free coffee and tea, toaster, plus cups, mugs, and bowls. There are better places for the price you pay, though.

The beds had no curtains, so there wasn’t much privacy, and there were only small lockers for personal items, no space for larger luggage. Now and then there were unpleasant smells that took some getting used to. Cleanliness overall was good, though. The staff were okay, but not particularly warm or engaging. The location is perfect if you want to enjoy the nightlife around Khao San Road while staying far enough away to sleep without too much noise.

The location was the only good thing about this hotel. We had a private room, but there was no soap or drinking water, the AC barely cooled, the sheets and furniture were worn out, and the shower had no hot water. The bed creaked like hell, and every noise from the hall came straight into the room. I could hear a man coughing or spitting in the shared WC as if he were right beside me. I only slept 3 hours in those conditions. I’d never stay here again.

They kept taking photos with a flash while I was sleeping, so many times. What about privacy? And every morning, they gossip about guests who supposedly shouldn’t be in the hostel. That’s disrespectful and shows no manners toward customers 🙄
