S.M. Grande Residence

On my second visit, the place was just as good as the first time. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff are brilliant and helpful. My friend and I had the good sized pool to ourselves since hardly anyone else was using it. Bars and restaurants are an easy walk away, and there’s a large parking area with security at the hotel entrance.

The hotel staff were nice, and they let us borrow some toys for our room. But the soft play area we booked for turned out to be very unsafe. The location also didn’t feel suitable for families, with bars and women approaching men right outside, including in front of the hotel. At night, we could hear doors slamming.

Really convenient and good value. I stayed five days, and this was my sixth visit. The atmosphere is lovely, and the people are nice. If you’re traveling with family, the residence rooms have a kitchen, plates, a gas cooker, and a washing machine.

The room was dirty, in poor condition, and felt extremely cheap. I even saw cockroaches inside. The woman with glasses was rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional, which made an already unpleasant stay worse. One of the worst and most obviously cheap hotels in Thailand.
