One One Bangkok Hotel

My silver jewelry disappeared from the table during housekeeping. I told reception exactly when it went missing and described the items. The hotel said it had checked CCTV and asked the housekeeper, who said she hadn't found anything. I searched through my belongings repeatedly while I was still there, and I'm sure the items were stolen. The hotel handled the matter incompetently, including through Agoda's request. I had to fly to another country and didn't have time to call the police.

For the price, this is a really beautiful hotel. Everything felt new and modern, from the doors to the faucets, and the rooms were quiet.

I booked one week at first and ended up staying six. I felt at home straight away, and after trying lots of other hotels and Airbnb’s around Thonglor and Ekkamai, One One Bangkok was the best value for money. The restaurant is underrated and great value. I'll miss the fresh watermelon smoothie, and On does a fantastic job running it. The customer service was generally good too. Mink checked in with me regularly and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay, which I really appreciated. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the sound insulation was above average. A special mention for Gail, who I think takes care of the second floor, though I may have the spelling wrong. She kept my room spotless, and her warm smile always brightened my day. She's amazing. There's a high concentration of great cafes and restaurants within a five-minute walk. Some things could be improved, but at this price I don't think they're worth calling out. Room 510. The view from the window was rooftops and a construction site. The neighbors were noisy, and on Fridays you could hear karaoke at night. They don't vacuum the carpets when cleaning the room, so dirt builds up if you stay for a long time.
