Sleep Dee Hostel

The owner was very rude, and her tone was way out of line. The private rooms are on the fifth floor and there’s no lift, and the amenities weren’t proper. Just after checkout time at 11:30am, she kicked us out and wouldn’t even let us stay in the lobby. A really bad experience with the owner.

The owner yelled at us about checkout and said she wouldn’t return the 300 tbh deposit if we didn’t leave within five minutes, even though it was only 11:30. She acted like we were staying for free. I’ve been in Thailand for a month and never had an experience like that. It was really bad.

I spent two weeks here in a private room. I’d stumbled across Google Maps reviews where every other person seemed to mention a rude, greedy old woman, but I never saw her during my stay :D Everyone I met was friendly and smiling.

I went to visit my friend from the USA, who was staying here. The location and low price had me thinking I might stay a night too, but the old woman at reception wouldn’t let me visit him in his room. She said we could only meet in the lobby, and she was very rude, shouting at us. We chatted there for only 10 minutes before she suddenly kicked us out and told us not to talk inside the lobby. I’d never had a hotel experience with such a strange, grumpy old woman. It felt like being in a prison guarded by a guard dog! The next day my friend checked out, even though he’d only been staying for two days.
