For around 540 baht a night, the price is very affordable, and BTS Ratchayothin is within walking distance. I also appreciated that a budget hotel had a bathtub. Those are the strong points, and the value and location could have earned it five stars from me. Cleanliness was the big problem. There were dead bugs on the floor, plus a few small live cockroaches in the dark corners under the TV table. I also found strands of hair left by previous guests, so the room cleaning clearly wasn’t thorough. Shampoo and body wash looked suspiciously like hand soap, so I’d bring my own or buy some from 7-11. I think it might be an okay place to sleep, depending on your hygiene standards. Other negative reviews about dirty rooms turned out to be true for me. Check the photos and decide for yourself.

The room was filthy, and I found cockroaches in it too. The photos show what I mean. After paying for all 26 nights, I had to leave after just two days. The hotel management confirmed by email that they would refund the unused nights, but two months later I’m still waiting, despite following up with the hotel and Booking customer service. Booking has given me no useful help so far. When I arrived, none of the employees could speak even a word of English. A complete scam in my experience. Avoid it at any cost.

My stay was a bad one. The room smelled, the sheets were dirty, and the door wouldn’t lock. I raised these issues with customer service and nothing was done. The service was very poor. I really can’t recommend this place.
