Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok by IHG

We checked in on New Years Day 2026, and this became one of our favorite hotel stays. We've been lucky to travel a lot and stay at plenty of nice places, and the attentive staff and beautiful hotel really stood out. The people watching was next level, with a young, stylish crowd. We got upgraded to a suite that was nicer than our house, with a cool view of the US Embassy. Breakfast at Stock Room was the most impressive spread we've ever seen, and the staff seemed to appear the moment we needed anything. It's a great neighborhood for walking to excellent restaurants and shopping. I hope we can return one day!

Ms. Grape made our stay at Kimpton Maalai memorable. Her warm, smiling manner and courtesy made a lasting impression. In my ten years of visits to Bangkok, I haven't come across a hotelier as courteous and welcoming as her. She did a splendid job. Thanks again, and I hope to return with my family next time. Maalai really lives up to its name.

The Sindhorn suite was phenomenal, with plenty of room, a closet and a living room with a fridge and daily coffee. The rooms are spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed, with no detail overlooked. My husband and I both had massages at the spa. Tid gave me the best massage of my life, and I mean that, it was perfect. Risa gave my husband his, and he said his was the best too. The pool is awesome. From the front desk, breakfast and coffee to the spa, door people and cleaning staff, everyone delivered the best service. Tina at the front desk was especially welcoming and delightful. We were impressed from check-in through check-out. Truly a 5 star experience.

The ramen and veggie soup the day after our wedding were just the high-quality comfort food I needed to recover. The gym is high spec and the infinity pool is stunning, but the personal touches were what won me over. We stayed at the Kimpton Maa Lai for our wedding, and the team handled our large group of friends with ease. They felt more like partners in the wedding than hotel employees. In Langsuan, the lush green views make you forget you're in busy Bangkok, and the place balances high-end luxury with a welcoming, laid-back vibe. It's a premium stay, but the service and experience made it worth it. Love the pool vibes here!
