The stairs are a bit narrow, which could be tough for larger people or anyone carrying oversized luggage. Still, the location was perfect, the room clean, and the price reasonable. Awesome, 10/10. I’ll definitely come back.

Update: A week later, the hotel replied that we had left a torn, broken headboard and dull black towels, even though we were there for just one night. There were already reviews about the dirty towels before our stay. I guess other guests must have poked them and made them dirty too. And apparently we also broke the headboard and made holes in it in one night. Don’t forget the bathroom mold, which we supposedly caused during that same night. It’s absurd. I hope reasonable people can see what this hotel and its service are like. I wouldn’t stay here for more than a night, and then only if there were no other options. After I posted an honest review on Agoda, they lied in their comments. We left the room at 12:07, after the noon checkout time. My husband checked out at 12:00, and I was in the bathroom. They claim they called us and so on, but that isn’t true. We asked about paying for a later checkout, and they said an extra hour would cost 1,000 baht. The room itself was 1,000 baht, though I think the fair price is 300-400 baht for the location alone. I travel every month, and this is my fifth time in Bangkok. This is the first time I’ve left a hotel such bad feedback. I attached photos: at 11:59 p.m., the room was photographed just before we left; at 12:09, we were downstairs and I photographed their price list; by 12:23, we were walking around Chatuchak market. So the delay was five to seven minutes because I used the bathroom before leaving, while my husband was already waiting downstairs. Their Agoda reply claims they called, knocked, and were about to throw us out. The screenshot shows it. Their responses to reviews that aren’t five stars seem to follow the same pattern: guests are always wrong or bad. They’ve even blamed people for arriving late at night and asked what they could possibly have seen, telling them not to write nonsense. They should take the comments into account, promise to improve the service, and at least replace the black towels with holes.

It’s very easy to get to the BTS station, and BigC is close by. The hotel seems best suited to solo and budget travelers. There’s no elevator, which they do mention in the booking information, so take that into account if you have large luggage. They provide water, but there’s no fridge in the room, and you’ll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.

I had a basic room, but it did what I needed. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I left my bag there for the day, and they let me sit and relax for a while. Would recommend.
