Leon Lasalle Hotel & Residences

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. We stayed four nights in the two-bedroom unit, and the staff were incredibly efficient, attentive, and helpful throughout. Noise travels easily, though. Even with both doors closed while I was in my bedroom, I could hear hallway sounds clearly, as if they were right outside. The shower temperature also kept shifting between hot and cold. Even so, I had a great stay at Leon Lasalle Hotel.

King made a difficult situation much easier, even after we had returned to Korea. He helped us with an important request like a friend. During our Bangkok stay, he had already arranged everything we needed because we didn’t know the city, including printing an important presentation. His kindness gave us a real sense of Thailand’s warmth. The staff were available around the clock and always did their best, but King stood out. We stay at Leon whenever we visit Bangkok because it feels safe, friendly, and convenient, and because of King. We’ll keep coming back. It feels like our home in Bangkok.

Our one-bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped, and over four nights it really felt like home. The staff at LeonLasalle were attentive and efficient, which made the hospitality stand out. The location worked well for us too. If you like shopping, Mega Bangna is an easy visit. I booked nearly three weeks but left after three days because what I found was very different from the Booking.com listing. The room was darker and much smaller than the photos suggested, with no view or green plants. The advertised “garden view” was a parking lot, and there was no terrace, just a small balcony without furniture. I also wasn’t allowed to check in until 1:30pm, despite the listing saying early check-in from 12. The pool shown as a hotel facility belongs to a private swim school in another building. Cleanliness and maintenance were poor, with bathroom mold and insects in the room. The shower kept swinging from very cold to extremely hot, so even a basic shower was uncomfortable. The property wouldn’t cancel, refund, or shorten my booking. I felt they could have shown more consideration and humility as a four-star property. Booking.com support was also no real help. I paid through Klarna and have filed a dispute. I’d advise looking elsewhere, closer to the city center, somewhere that delivers what it promises.
