Mind day Hostel Khaosan

The rooftop is my favorite, with awesome city views at sunrise and sunset. You can smoke up there, there’s a bar, and it’s a relaxed place you can visit any time. There’s another whole chill area on the second floor with a kitchen, where you can get work done. The location is perfect, only about a three-minute walk from the street. The hostel is just around the corner from the party area, so nights stay quiet. There’s AC, and you meet good people from around the world who are here to party and backpack. I’ve been coming down for years and tried lots of hostels on khosan road. This is one of the cheapest and best. The owner was really nice, and I’ve stayed here for quite a few days when I come on weekends. I lost my motorbike key at the hostel once, and they called me the next day after finding it. Can’t beat the price.

For a cheaper stay, the rooms and beds were acceptable, though nothing special. The room wasn't very clean, and the bathroom was sometimes dirty. I noticed stains on the bed, but it felt somewhat okay for the low price. There's an air-conditioned-free lounge on the first floor where you can wait before check-in or after checkout. The receptionists were very kind and friendly, which is why I gave it three stars.

I had a good experience here and found it budget-friendly. The five stars are for the front desk staff, Prem and Rohan. The hostel has more potential, though, and management should improve the facilities, amenities, and cleanliness. I hope it does better next time.

I've stayed here before. The rooftop bar is a nice place to chill, and the hostel is cheap and pleasant. Staff were friendly, and the location worked well for getting to Khaosan Road.
