The gym, pool, and location were good, and I really wanted this to become my regular Bangkok place. After 30 hours of travel, though, I arrived to find my room beside a major skyscraper construction site. It was impossible to sleep, even with earplugs. They first said there were no other rooms, then kindly offered one, but I waited over an hour. When I was told to go up, workers were lounging in the room, so I thought it was the wrong one. The desk confirmed it was mine, and the workers left. They showed me how to use the keycard. The new room was quiet, had a nice garden view, and looked great. Then I found that almost every outlet was broken or barely worked, and the lamp had bent plugs. The hot water was broken too, so after that long trip I took a cold shower and tried to nap. Maybe others have had better luck, but I’ll find somewhere else for future visits. Glad I booked one night instead of a longer stay.

The location is easy to get to and the room is okay-sized, but the Wi-Fi is really bad. A washer or laundry room would be great. Room service also needs improving: I asked for it in the morning and it still hadn’t been done when I got back in the afternoon.

The room was clean, and the front desk let me check in at 3am and leave at 1pm. It’s good value in a good area. The only drawbacks are that it feels dated and gets quite dim at night.

Reception and housekeeping were completely unhelpful, and the service was awful. They told us to check out if we couldn’t get them clean towels, or they’d cut the room’s electricity. That’s appalling behavior from a three-star hotel that provides no service. Telling two girls in a tourist country to just leave, is this a hotel or a hostel?

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The pool and gym are decent, but the Wi-Fi lets the place down. These days, you need a reliable connection.
