OYO 994 Kudi Hostel (Vaccinated Staff)

I had a very nice two-day stay in a bunk in the 10-bed dorm. It was clean and comfortable, and each dorm floor has two bathrooms with a shower in each, plus two sinks outside every dorm. A pleasant stay, and the price makes this a place I’ll remember as my go-to in the area.

The rooftop is super cozy and has a great view. Staff are very friendly and speak good English, and they provide cold water and hot water for tea. It’s a chill place for a calm stay in Bangkok. Our family room was a little small and, unfortunately, had no window. One evening the heavy rain meant there was no water, so we couldn’t shower. Wi-Fi didn’t work on the fourth floor, though it was fine elsewhere in the hostel. Some recommendations weren’t very useful, and they don’t arrange things for you. Also, reception was often unattended, so I had to call when I had a question or issue.

Living here felt like being at home. The staff are polite and helpful, and the room is always clean. There’s a washing machine, rooftop, kitchen room, and other facilities. A 7-11 is only about 30 meters away on foot. I recommend this hostel. Just be aware that the private room may not suit light sleepers, because the two water pumps are very loud. If you’re looking for a hotel, this is a good one.

I planned to stay at Kudi Hostel for just two nights, but it was comfortable and worth the money, so I extended my stay. It feels homey once you get inside, and the staff are accommodating. The mattress is thick, there’s a duvet, hairdryer, clean bathroom, and free refills of mineral water, coffee, tea, and chocolate. The location is tucked away in a small alley that feels dark at night.
