Avoid this place at all cost. The furniture looks more than 100 years old, it’s dirty, and the staff don’t seem to care about you. Worst place I’ve stayed in Thailand.

The room rate is cheap, that part is true, but think carefully before staying here. There’s smoking all day, and cigarette smoke and smell drift up into the rooms. It’s awful if you have respiratory problems. There used to be no rats, but now there are lots around the trash cans, in the hallways, and along the pipes. I’ve heard clothes have gone missing and that there are thieves. Safety feels like a zero. It started out fine, then the place was neglected, with no interest in tenants or making improvements. Water and electricity bills are expensive, and the entrance to the alley is dark and deserted.

Whenever I go, I end up with a room on the 9th floor. I don’t know if it’s just Burmese people staying on that floor, but they don’t speak Thai very clearly, and they’re inconsiderate and loud. I reported it, but was told nobody was there. I could hear them talking with Burmese people right outside my room. It left me disappointed and upset.
