Petra Boutique Donmuang

For a short stop near Don Mueang Airport, this worked perfectly. It’s only a few minutes from the airport, and the price is very good value. The hostel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with friendly, helpful staff and everything organized well. Highly recommend it if you need a simple, convenient place to stay before or after a flight.

There’s a lot of activity around this airport hotel, so earplugs are a good idea. Still, it’s close to the airport, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the owner is welcoming and very helpful. It’s the ideal place when you need an airport stay. I wouldn’t stay at any other airport hotel!

Sorry, I’m a guest checking in on December 4th and only just noticed the check-in time. I’ll arrive at 00:30. Could you send me the check-in instructions? I can’t find the hotel’s contact email. Please get in touch with me by email. Thank you very much.

The location is the strongest point, just a ten minute walk to the airport, and Susie the manager is nice. I had a poor night’s sleep, though. There are four rooms, two facing a busy road and two away from it, and I guess I paid for one on the noisy side. Traffic goes all night, especially motorbikes, and the downstairs AC exhaust on the ledge makes a racket too. The room itself wasn’t great: two mattresses on the floor. They could get proper beds and a table, so you don’t have to leave your water or AC control on the floor. The shower is part of the bathroom, so the floor gets wet. Breakfast is just toast and a banana. This is hostel standard accommodation, and as a solo traveller I’d have been better off in a dorm for half the price. Three stars is generous. It currently has a 4.7 on Google Maps, which is a travesty.
