Pimthong Place

The host was very pleasant, and the rooms were good, though noise travels from nearby rooms. It’s especially noticeable on the ground floor when people are walking on the second floor above you. Getting to the hotel from the airport is a little awkward, but manageable. Check-in and check-out are limited to certain hours. They may sometimes make an exception, but you can’t count on it. For our second planned stay, our flight got in late and we couldn’t reach the hotel, so we stayed at an airport hotel to be safe.

Julia was amazing, so helpful and friendly. When our taxi was running late, she even drove us to the airport herself. The rooms were okay and did exactly what we needed for a quick Bangkok layover without going into the city. I’d definitely come back if I have another layover there.

Julia’s breakfast was a lovely final touch. The eggs and fruit were delicious, and the dessert was out of this world. She made sure we ate well before heading to the airport, which is only 10-15 mins away. The best part of our stay at Pimthong Place was Julia herself. She took us to the local market and made sure we were comfortable, and her hospitality made our Thailand trip even better. Pimthong place feels like an experience, not just another home stay. The setting in Lat Krabang is wonderfully peaceful, and Pasta Home nearby serves delicious pasta. We had a wonderful stay here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable night before a flight out of BKK.

A very welcoming hostess, clean and spacious rooms, and a delicious breakfast. She was happy to help arrange transportation and always had a smile. It’s about an hour by car from Bangkok, but only 10 minutes from the airport, so it’s handy for your last night in the city before flying.
