I’ve stayed here for around three months altogether. The owners are friendly, the rooms are great, and the service is fantastic. For a small fee, they’ll do all your laundry. Downstairs there’s a self-service water station and a little fridge with drinks. Having Netflix and Disney+ on the pretty big TV was a lifesaver, since the alternative was only Thai TV. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

I spent a month here in January and was completely happy with my stay. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the place felt like home. It’s one of the Bangkok memories I’ll always look back on fondly. I recommend it.

Pom Pom home has everything I need, and the owners have looked after me so well. It’s a bit out from central Bangkok, but I’d recommend it 100/100!

It started raining as I drove toward the property, but the rain wasn’t heavy. Then I found the place was down a very narrow street, with buildings and fences on both sides, and the road was flooded. I was close, but the water was already touching my car’s body and too high for my normal sedan. I didn’t want to risk getting stuck, especially since it wasn’t a truck or 4x4. I called the owner and explained I couldn’t get through. I backed up to the street entrance while we talked and let a taxi go ahead. The owner said he could see a taxi make it and that my car could go too. But it was dark and rainy, I couldn’t see much, and the taxi was larger and higher than my car. No thanks. He then offered to call me a taxi, but when I asked where I could park my car, with the street so tight and a highway on the other side, he had no answer. His English wasn’t very good, and we kept going in circles. I asked him to cancel because I believe it’s not my fault if the property can’t be reached. He didn’t. Booking support said they would cancel the reservation, but the property would decide whether to refund me. As far as I can tell, I got no refund. I don’t care much about the money, but charging me when the property was unreachable feels totally unfair. The photos show the start of the road, and it gets deeper the farther in you go.
