Port Canary Hotel

The room was big, clean, and smelled nice. Even with the hotel near the road, the heavy curtains kept the noise out. There’s a smoking area not too far away, two mini marts nearby, and a great Thai restaurant right next door that isn’t too expensive. The staff were really nice and helpful. I’ll be back soon.

The pool area looked great, and the hotel beds were comfortable with soft pillows. Staff were also easy to talk to before I arrived. There’s a nice waterside restaurant at the hotel next door. I chose this hotel mainly for the pool, but couldn’t use it because the step tread was broken and I had no safe way to get out of the water. Another guest said they’d just told the staff, but nobody had come to check it. The hotel may already know, in which case there should be a warning in place.

We stayed one night before our flight. The hotel was clean and modern, and the staff were friendly. The shuttle to the airport cost 250 baht per room and took only 15 minutes. I just wish the pool stayed open later than 6pm.

A clean, good value place with excellent staff. The room was spotless, and the pool was small but clean. It’s on a busy road, but I never heard the traffic. I’d definitely recommend it for a one or two day stopover.
