It’s over 1 km to the train, and the room has no safe. You only get one key card, so it’s boiling hot when you return. I asked for an iron, but they didn’t have one. The rooms are very basic, with a tiny TV and no English channels. This hotel sucks.

The location worked well for us, close to street food, stores, pharmacies, and markets. The room itself was nice and clean, but we kept itching in bed. Since it was our first time having this happen at a hotel, we initially thought it might be a food allergy. By the third night we were still itchy, especially in bed, and it seemed like there might be bugs. We weren’t sure the bedding had really been changed.

Getting to anything interesting from this hotel is a long way. Staff wouldn’t help with our bags, and when I asked for another pillow and offered to pay, they said no. The bed was hard, the sheets looked gross, there wasn’t a spoon for coffee or a face towel, and breakfast wasn’t worth 200thb. I wouldn’t come back.

We stayed for three days and two nights, and the experience was quite unsatisfactory. On Day 2, my partner and I went out around noon. When we got back, our key card wouldn’t open the room, so I had to ask someone in the lobby for help. The employee spoke plainly and didn’t smile. We told the staff before going out again that we needed an early checkout at 4:00 AM on Day 3 because our return flight was at 6:20 AM. At checkout, though, we were told to pay a fine for a broken glass. We hadn’t touched any of the glasses, so the charge seemed extremely strange. The employee said housekeeping had entered to clean on Day 2. We hadn’t asked for cleaning, and I think entering without our permission is a major issue. We had valuables in the room, and the hotel should respect guests’ privacy. If we had genuinely caused damage to the room’s equipment, I’d have been willing to pay for it. But the employee handling checkout didn’t apologize or greet us, and had a poor attitude. I hope the hotel takes serious steps to address these problems. Unfortunately, I won’t use its services again.
