Q Residences

The reception staff were genuinely friendly, which was a bright spot. The room furnishings are worn and poorly kept, and the place looks older than it does in the photos. For the same money, I’d rather stay at a hotel. It might work for a short visit, but for an overnight stay I found it much too expensive.

We needed somewhere that would let our K9 daughter stay with us, which is hard to find in Bangkok. When she’s not with us, we stay at the 5 star Muse hotel in Bangkok, so Q Residences turned out to be a lovely surprise. There’s no fancy lobby or restaurant, but when we’re here for several days we like ordering food from different places anyway. What matters to us is a quiet, beautiful room, and this one delivered: glass and white tiles, a huge shower, and a private swim pool right off it. Every person on staff, from housekeeping to management, was the best. We’re very thankful for the excellent service. We’re usually in Bangkok monthly, and this will be our place each time. The rooms are huge, just as the L rooms name suggests, and the lighting works well for photography. There’s a jacuzzi, and short bookings of 3 hours are possible. The Wi-Fi was slow, though, and you’ll need a taxi, Grab, or your own transport since it’s not near BTS/MRT. Some furniture is beaten up, and parts of the floors and walls have seen wear too.
