The gym is fully equipped and there's a pool in a separate building, though both are closed on Sundays. Shops, restaurants, and a 7/11 are an easy walk away on the main road, and a helpful guard is by the elevator from the parking area. The residence itself sits on a small side street just north of Chatuchak, a long way from the main sights. My room was roomy but dated, with old linens and no soundproofing from the corridor or outside. Wi-Fi kept dropping, at around 15-20 Mbps. If you're staying in this area, I'd look for special offers. 🌟 🌟

For the price, the Wi-Fi was good, and pool and gym access were included. There were three 7-Eleven branches nearby, which helped when I struggled to find halal food. The one at Bon Marche closed at 5 pm, making dinner difficult for us as Muslims, though we did manage to get a halal fast-food burger. The residence is tucked down an alley, so we had to walk to the main road for public transport. We chose it thinking it was central between Bangkok and Don Mueang Airport, but it turned out to be far from both and from local attractions. Our room also didn't match the advertised one. There was a guard on duty 24 hours, and the elevator only worked with an access card.

For a stay outside the city, I thought it was worth the price. The room was comfortable and clean, with a TV, hairdryer, air conditioning, water heater, and bathtub. There's also a refrigerator, microwave, dishes, bowls, cutlery, and glasses, so it would suit a longer stay.

The musty smell in the room and cigarette odor from the air-conditioning vents made it unpleasant, and I found small insects on the bed. The lighting was shocking too: just lights by the door and in the bathroom, plus an old, dim bedside lamp that didn't work. I've never stayed in a room this dark. It wasn't a place where I could relax.
