The area has trees and is fairly quiet, the reception looks stylish, and it’s close to the airport link. Everything else was a miserable experience for the price. My single room had a shared bathroom. It may once have been modern, but the furniture is now shabby and dirty, and the bed rolled around like a hospital bed and was uncomfortable. The panoramic windows look nice, but make the room unbearably hot in the morning and during the day. They don’t open for fresh air, and there’s no blackout, so the sun wakes you. The curtains, bedding, and bed top were dirty. There was no fridge, AC remote, or bin. I presume the AC is old: I couldn’t adjust the temperature or fan power, it was noisy and barely cooled the room, and it squeaked loudly every hour. There was hair in the shower that was still there the next morning, and no hot water. The ceiling mounted shower makes it hard to wash without getting your hair wet. They gave me only one large bath towel, no small face towel or soap, and I even had to ask for water. The lights go off at night, after 9pm, which felt creepy. The shared toilet door is quite transparent, so you can see the person inside. And the swimming pool is tiny and narrow. I’m 167 cm tall and couldn’t spread my arms enough to swim. You can sit and relax in it, but it’s more like a bath than a pool. The pictures are misleading. I could have paid 12 dollars for a room with a shared bathroom near BTS. I really regret staying at Refill now hostel. This is the first time I’ve left such a bad review. Very disappointed.

We picked this place for a quiet rest after the flight, and it worked well. The staff were lovely, and the pool was nice. They let us into our rooms at 9 a.m. even though we’d arrived in Bangkok at 6 a.m., which we really appreciated. The room looked different from the pictures, but it was clean and nice.

The staff were attentive and cheerful, which made it easy to feel comfortable here. I also liked the neighborhood: lively, with good local restaurants and cozy cafés, and two seven eleven shops a five-minute walk away. Despite all that activity, the hotel itself was very quiet. My private room was bright and clean, with big windows facing the pool. The shared bathroom was clean, bright, and well laid out too. There’s an open common room that feels cozy, a nice spot to relax, have a drink, or talk with friends. I wanted somewhere intimate to settle in for my first few days in Thailand before starting my bigger adventure, and this suited me.

Back for my second visit, and it’s still just right. The owner greeted me with that sweet smile and gave me an even better room than last time. Everything was super clean, and the music and atmosphere were great. Just the best 👌
