Thai Cozy House

The staff were welcoming and the rooms were clean. Khao San Road is very close, but far enough away that you don’t hear it. There aren’t any windows, which may be why. I could hear some drunk guests in the corridor once, but the night itself was quiet for me. I’d still keep earplugs handy just in case.

I had a lovely stay. The room was comfortable and clean, and it was serviced every day. The reception team were friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel is close to the bus stations and Khao San Road, with the river and a temple within walking distance. There’s a Cannabis dispensary across the street, and street food and juice sellers about 30 meters away. Everything you need is nearby, so I’d recommend it if you’re continuing on to other places in Thailand. Thanks to everyone for making me feel comfortable. Cozy Hotel really suits the name.

I booked one night and chose to pay at the property. Booking.com showed £22, or 1000 baht, but when I arrived they asked for 2200 baht, including a 500 deposit for the key. I questioned the difference and they said it might be commission or something, which didn’t make sense to me. Check the price carefully. I nearly paid double for no clear reason.

The room had everything I needed, and though the hotel is centrally located, it was quiet inside. The management were very nice. The woman in the lobby and the other man there were both charming, and the manager was helpful when I needed a letter confirming my stay for an immigration visit about extending my visa. I also received a little Thailand souvenir bag. Highly recommended, and cheap!
