We loved the neighborhood for its everyday Bangkok feel. There's no fancy shopping street, just hardworking people going about daily life, which felt like the real city. The rooftop was just as lovely as the rest of the hotel. I enjoyed working on my laptop there at night and having drinks with family and friends from Denmark. The river and city views are amazing. We began and ended our holidays at this hotel, after booking in January 2017. We spent seven weeks traveling through Thailand and Vietnam, and had brought several suitcases even though we didn't need all the clothes. The staff were very friendly and let us leave some things in a storage room. If you're after a fairly cheap, nice, safe place to stay in Bangkok, this hotel has what you're looking for while you're far from home in an unfamiliar city, experiencing Thai life in the middle of the European winter.

I stayed three nights, from 1st - 4th Mar 2025, and chose this place for its location near talat noi and Yaowarat. The room was just the right size for me, simple and basic, quiet, and convenient for sightseeing and finding food. The main drawbacks were that there were no international TV channels and the water pressure was low, so showering took longer than usual. I mentioned it to reception, but they weren't able to do anything.

A great place to watch the sunset or see the Chaophraya river at night, with a lovely bar, great views, and really good food at a very reasonable price. It's a hidden gem in Bkk for riverside views. The location is also handy for exploring the old china town area, though narrow, crowded roads are normal around there.

This was my favorite part of Bangkok, with great coffee and restaurants close by. The hotel is centrally located in Talat Nói, very affordable, and has clean, spacious rooms, welcoming staff, and a lovely view from the roof. I'll definitely stay again.

The room was filthy and nothing like it was described. The shower head was disgusting, the worst I've seen in a hotel or guesthouse, and there were exposed electrical parts. Water pressure was too weak to wash my hair. There was no window in the main bedroom, the air conditioning was noisy, the mosquito guards were broken, and the tap was broken and dripping constantly.
