Room 36 service apartment

For the price, the pool is a real bonus. The room was clean and looked after, with more space than a standard room. There's a minimart only 40 meters away, which is handy. There weren't any service staff, though I can understand that at this price.

Walking around here, especially after dark, doesn't feel advisable. I've seen reports of suspicious people and theft in the Sukhumvit 36 area, around Naphasap Lane 4 and 5. From 2024 to 2025, the surroundings seem to have shifted from a quiet residential street to something more slum-like. Safety update.

I booked for five days, but now I want my money back so I can move somewhere decent. The sheets had clearly been used already, with black marks that looked like mold. I was shocked. The rest of the dirt hardly mattered beside that. This is the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen anywhere, and I don't want to spend New Year's in a place like this.

Clean, pleasant room, in a good spot, and the price was reasonable.
