It did the job for the price. The bed was hard and firm, which I like, and the air conditioning worked well. It's cheap and close to the airport, though you can hear planes. There was good food within walking distance, and you can get a Grab or taxi to the old floating markets. The internet didn't work. It had a decent Agoda rating, so I'm not sure why the Google reviews are low.

We arrived with heavy bags after paying for two taxis because the address listed on Hostelworld sent us to the wrong place. Once at the property, they said they had no booking for us and no room available. We never got our deposit back, and had to pay for another hostel. Nobody apologized or offered help. Avoid this place.

The toilet bowl came loose from the tiles while we were there, so be careful. The room smelled, the water and AC both worked badly, and the Wi-Fi was down. Management was very poor. We didn't sleep there. Just a few hours after checking in, I had to find another hotel. Terrible place.

The place was clean, and its location near the airport was handy. I also really liked the customer service.

I stayed last week and had a great time. It's very close to the airport and good value for the money. The ownership has changed recently, and the new host is wonderful.
