Saan Hotel Sathorn

A couple of small fixes would make this stay even better. The shower never got hot enough, and on day two the key cards stopped working. Reception replaced them quickly, though it was a bit of a disruption. I’d also have enjoyed a proper coffee machine in the lobby, like the one at the nearby Riva Hotel where I stayed before. It’s not a must, just something that would be a nice addition. The rest of my two nights at The Saan Hotel went smoothly. The room was clean, well kept, and a good size. Staff were courteous and helpful throughout, and check-in and checkout were easy. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Reception lent me a power adapter so I could charge my phone and iPad, and the unlimited drinking water from the lobby cooler was a thoughtful extra. Its location near Kung Thonburi BTS station and an easy walk from Icon Siam were useful too. Good value, with genuinely helpful staff.

The staff made our two weeks here especially lovely. They were friendly and accommodating, and always seemed happy to see us in the lobby. When I got a splinter, a woman at the front desk removed it and treated my finger with antiseptic. A driver helped us find somewhere to do laundry and brought it back to the hotel, and when my husband’s shirt ripped, a gentleman had it repaired that same day. The Bellman never let us carry anything! Our room was comfortable and clean, and housekeeping came as often as we wanted. There was free water both in the lobby and in the room. We hated leaving. Such a great place with great people.

We loved our family stay at Saan Hotel last week. Grow cafe, attached to the hotel, was great, with amazing coffee and delicious food. It was an easy spot to eat or have a drink after a long day in the city. Iconsiam mall is walkable and a must see. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Free bottled water was a nice bonus. I’d definitely recommend Saan hotel.

The staff were lovely and always willing to help. They provide complimentary water, and there’s a free tuk tuk that can take you closer to the main road when needed. They can also arrange a car or van if you need a ride somewhere. The hotel is clean and nice, in a fairly central location, and very good value for money.
