Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok

The team at the pool and The Sala restaurant/bar really stood out. Meena, K, Fang, Auan, MJ, Fern, Folk, Good, and Ploy remembered our drinks after the first night and greeted us warmly every time. Their personal attention made each visit enjoyable. The room was comfortable, excellent, and well maintained, and housekeeping did a fantastic job. They even found 600 baht in clothing I’d sent to laundry and returned it with a note and the clean clothes. The Kaprao Pizza at The Sala was a delicious, unusual mix of Italian and Thai flavors. Throughout the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, everyone from the front desk and luggage service to housekeeping, lobby, and restaurant staff was friendly, professional, and helpful. It felt like they cared about making our stay special. The Bangkok location is perfect, and we’d absolutely stay again.

I was especially impressed when I asked for Stir-Fried Butter Garlic Prawns, a dish that wasn’t on the menu, and the Orchid Café team kindly made it for me. Kritsanupoom and the team consistently showed us warmth and genuine hospitality. The pool staff were also excellent: manager Khun Meena, along with Nitiphong BunDee, BQ Kao, Khun Sumita, Khun Itthichot, and Khun Good, were friendly, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit in Asok is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. From the staff to the dining, everything exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it.

My sister and I spent our birthday at this hotel, and I’m so glad we chose it. I travel a lot and stay in top hotels, and this is probably one of the best I’ve experienced. The service and food were top-tier, and everyone treated us with respect and kindness regardless of our race. That really stood out to me, since some places assume Black people may not have money, and we definitely do. The pool area is among the nicest around, with great service and friendly staff, and the breakfast was delicious. If you want good service, communication, and a good vibe, they’ll take care of you. I’m an American from the US, and I’d tell anyone reading this to pick this place. We want to bring the whole family next time so they can enjoy the same luxury. Thanks to the hotel and staff for making it such a wonderful experience.

The standout was how warmly and soulfully Thai the service felt, and how the hotel celebrates its history and local character. This was my fifth Luxury Collection hotel, and it reminded me why I love the brand. Right on Sukhumvit Road, it connects directly to Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT, but indoors it feels like Bangkok from another era. I stayed in the spacious, elegant Thai traditional themed Rama Suite, which felt deeply rooted in Thai history and a world away from the modern city outside. The Thai themed main pool has lovely statues and plenty of places to lounge. Dining was memorable too, especially the immersive 5 course Le Petit Chef dinner at the lounge. Its playful competition theme brought dishes inspired by France, Italy, Spain, and Japan, paired beautifully with wine. The lounge’s gin library has a vast selection, and trying four styles with mixers in a gin flight was fun. I can’t recommend it enough, especially the Thai themed suites.
