Can anyone confirm whether daily Airbnb stays are legal? Airbnb condo unit 1111 on the 11th floor had two Chinese men who smoked heavily. The whole corridor smelled of cigarette smoke, and it was so bad that it came into Airbnb unit 1110. The corridor wallpaper was dangling and torn, and both the corridor and lift lobby were stuffy and hot. The washing machine leaked like a water fountain. The chaise lounge chairs at the rooftop pool were broken, and the rooftop gym was extremely small and narrow.

Lovely amenities and a good vibe in the area along Sukhumvit Road. It's an easy walk to Gateway BTS Ekkamai.

I was there to pick up my tourists, so I can't rate the room. The lobby and toilet were clean, and both were small but cozy. The ambiance was generally good, with welcoming reception and hospitality. Make sure you check which Siamese Exclusive you need, since there are several. It's in the Sukhumvit area, with easy access to the BTS SkyTrain line. There are shopping malls nearby, including Gateway Ekkamai. The road traffic can get jammed during rush hour, so plan around that.

The host was incredibly responsive, replying within minutes, and was flexible, accommodating and helpful. Her parents live in the same condo and help guests with some needs. She also let us leave our luggage for a few hours after checkout. We paid 100 SGD a night and felt it was well worth it. We booked a fantastic one-bedroom condo through Airbnb, on the 23rd floor, with a lovely view that included part of the Choa Phraya river. It had a bedroom, bathroom, living room and small balcony. The bed was very comfortable, and the wide sofa could easily sleep one person. The clean, well-maintained unit had a large LED TV, microwave, fridge, front-loading washer, induction cooker, cutlery, utensils, hair dryers and an iron. There were plenty of hangers in the bedroom cupboards. One access card came with the unit; you could get a second by leaving a deposit. There's a small gym and an infinity pool on the top floor, plus another pool on the 7th floor. A restaurant and cafe are on the ground floor. The condo is a five-minute walk from Ekkamai BTS on the Sukhumvit line, and three minutes from Gateway Ekkamai, with lots of food options. There are cafes and restaurants all around, and it's seven stops to famous malls like Siam Paragon. The Soi is one-way, so taxi drivers may sometimes need a little time to find their way. A clean, excellent option close to amenities and the city center.
