Sweet's Escape Bangkok

I slept so well here, thanks to the mattress, four perfectly springy pillows, and soft blanket. The room was spacious and spotless, and I loved the decor. Service was exceptional, too. For this price range, it’s hard to find a better location in the Asoke area.

The stairs are the main drawback, especially when you have to carry luggage upstairs since there’s no lift. Otherwise, the location is great, right by the metro for getting around, and the staff were nice. They keep your key safe, since you have to pay if you lose it. The room had no windows, but that didn’t bother us because we only used it for sleeping.

We found the medium sized room perfectly fine, and the bed and pillows were soft and comfortable, like in a five star hotel. The place is small but lovely, with stylish, carefully crafted decor throughout. It’s about a five minute walk to the MRT/BTS, and the owner was friendly and supportive when we checked in. There’s no lift, but for this price we didn’t consider that a big deal. Every baht felt worth it. Really nice hotel, keep up the great service!

The only drawback for us was having to pay at the property, since they don’t take credit cards yet. Otherwise, the location is perfect, about five minutes on foot to both MRT and BTS. The owner was lovely, helpful, and accommodating. She speaks perfect English and offered recommendations for things to do. We stayed six nights and had a fantastic time. The hotel is newly built, the rooms are beautiful and perfectly clean, and the bed, pillows, sheets, and blankets were wonderfully soft. I’d recommend Sweet’s Escape to anyone looking for a great stay in Bangkok.
