Take A Rest Donmuang Residence

We arrived around 8 pm and asked if there was a room. There was. Small living room, big bedroom, and a shower room, all clean and air-conditioned. Nice place, low price.

We stayed two nights and couldn’t sleep either one. It was noisy all night, and the bed was awful, very hard with springs poking into our backs. The pillows were hard too. The rooms were somewhat clean, the air conditioners worked well, and the bathroom was okay. The front door didn’t shut tightly, and the window barely seemed to be there. We felt every truck rumbling past. I wouldn’t recommend it.

For a stop between flights, this worked really well. It’s close to the airport, affordable, clean, and comfortable. Our room was larger, and the bathroom was very clean with a hot shower. You can walk to 7/11 and the food market, and the hotel helpfully arranged an early morning driver to the airport.

The staff were lovely and the service was wonderful. There’s good Wi-Fi, a fridge and water in the good-sized room, plus a warm shower and toilet paper. It was clean, though not comfortable, and the building is old with mold. The door barely closed and it was noisy, as others have said. I had earplugs with me. Still, at this price in the middle of the city and so close to Don Muang Airport, you won’t find much cheaper. 7-11 is a one-minute walk and taxis pass constantly. If you want to save money without staying in a dorm or hostel, this works.
