BLU 395 Ari-Saphan Khwai

I found 4 cockroaches in my room, which was the main problem for me. Otherwise, the room was fine, if a little smaller than I expected. The staff were really nice and helpful, and the noise didn’t bother me much since I’m used to living in a city.

I stayed for over 2 months, and renting here was the best decision I’ve made. It’s right by BTS saphan kwai station on the green sukhumvit line, the main sky train line, with connections to the airport rail link and MRT metro lines. Big C, a large grocery store, is right in front of the building, so it’s easy to get what you need. The hotel rooms are nice and well equipped. I rented a monthly room with basic furniture and brought my own bed sheets and pillow. It wasn’t a big deal, and I could decorate the room how I wanted. Wifi is included. There are coin washing machines and dryers, a post mail box, and food delivery bison the lobby. Ordering from shopee or grab is easy. The area can be noisy because it’s between 2 big hospital with many ambulance run and the sky train next door. I got used to it after a week, but if noise bothers you, I’d suggest earplugs or asking for a room at the back of the building. There’s a cute Bonci coffee shop on the first floor and a big street food road on Pradiphat road. It’s a nice area, and I’d come back and rent again.

Everything seemed fine until day 3, when I went to exchange my towels. They took the dirty ones at the front desk, opened them up, and inspected them like inspector gadget. Then they wanted to charge me 100 bhat because one towel was dirty, even though I hadn’t used it and it was already dirty when they gave it to me. They acted like I couldn’t get fresh towels until I paid. Absolutely not. It was embarrassing and unprofessional. Why use white towels if you’re going to scrutinize how dirty each one is? God forbid I’d been on my period. Do not recommend for this reason. Get different colored towels if you’re going to act like ISpy.

The only problem I had was that the place didn’t seem thoroughly cleaned on the first night. The host was always available and very helpful, though, and made sure it was cleaned every day. The property is good overall. Highly recommended.
