The internet was a hassle, since I had to sign in again every two hours. Breakfast was disappointing for what it cost, too. The upkeep and housekeeping were poor, and cleanliness and maintenance didn't seem to be handled properly. If I could get a room at a hotel near the shopping mall, I wouldn't have any reason to stay here.

Getting to the airport by bus turned out to be confusing, so next time I'd stay nearer an airport rail station, even if it were farther away. I picked this place because it was close to the airport. The check-in was the quickest I had all trip, and the room was good, though the adjoining door let sound through. YouTube on the smart TV was handy. The pool was shaded in the afternoon, and the shopping malls were a short walk away.

The staff were courteous and respectful, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Beds were reasonably comfortable too. A good choice for Western travelers waiting to leave Bangkok who want to be near the airport.

The staff did try to help by moving us to a suite, which was old but clean and had no insects. Our first room was another story. We got in at 1 a.m. after a flight and couldn't stay there five minutes because it smelled so damp. When we lay on the bed, we saw disgusting insects covering the ceiling, and some fell onto the bed. We don't understand the hotel's four-star rating. It's very old, has serious damp problems, and unfortunately has lots of pests. The experience was very disappointing.

Apart from the internet problem, we had a nice stay. The room was good and the people were nice, but watch out if something goes wrong, because they didn't do anything to help. This was our second stay, and the room's internet was out. I asked them to send someone to fix it, but they said they had nobody, not even someone to check. My computer wouldn't work, and the TV didn't work either. I told them I'd paid for a room with internet and was unhappy, but they brushed me off and said nothing could be done.
