Forum Park Hotel

I’ve stayed here both daily and monthly since 2023. It’s an old hotel, but it’s well maintained and clean, with good bedding and good AC. The room is bright despite its size, and I sleep well here. Service is top notch from everyone I’ve dealt with, including reception, the maids, security guards, and cafe staff. There are plenty of local food options and shops along the road, and the location is good, though you’ll need a car since the hotel isn’t close to the BTS. The price is cheap for the area, and you get more than you pay for.

The room was large, and the neighborhood was quiet. But the gym couldn’t support a full workout, and the pool looked polluted. The location wasn’t ideal either, with the nearest metro station and shopping mall both more than 2 km away.

We planned to stay five days, but left after two because the room was unbearably hot. The air conditioning was loud and seemed to put out no cold air. They sent someone to improve it, but it made no difference. We also had to pay a deposit, and when it’s paid by card it takes 30 days to return to your bank. We moved to a much nicer hotel with better service and air conditioning, and no deposit. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re desperate.

The room and balcony were good, and the pool and gym were not bad. But we were here for three days with my bro, and they wouldn’t let us in before 2 am. On checkout day, they started knocking at the door at 10 in the morning to remind us. Language was a big problem. The receptionists were polite, but even after explaining it to all of them, they couldn’t understand the words “ROOM CLEAN.” It was a pain just trying to get them to understand that sentence. The washbasin and toilet flush had horrible water pressure, sometimes we waited 15 minutes for it to flush properly. Outside the hotel, the best thing was that 7/Eleven was about 900 mtrs walking distance away. Also handy in the lobby was a weighing machine, so you could check your luggage before going to the airport.
