The location works well for getting around. Chinatown is only a few minutes away, with street food and nightlife, and taxis and tuk-tuks are easy to find. You can also reach the boat pier and visit places like Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Flower market, or Icon Siam. I was there to pick up tourists, so I can't comment on the rooms. The staff were unexpectedly thoughtful and helpful to me as a tour guide and to people collecting clients for activities. Their attention made a strong impression, and the service felt above what I'd expect from a 5-star hotel. Thank you. I'll gladly recommend it when my tourists ask for advice. (:

It's close to China Town, and the price is hard to beat. We were three women and felt comfortable and safe the whole time. The rooms were really clean and just right for us, the staff were nice, and there's a pleasant coffee shop by the lobby.

Our room was on the sixth floor, and the view from up there was nice. The rooms were clean, and the hotel sits in the heart of china town, a lovely part of Bangkok to explore. Just be aware that the room heats up fast without AC. You need a card to turn it on, and they only give you one. Still, I'd consider staying here again next time.

The noise made it impossible to rest. Level 2 was loud from about 6:00 AM, with footsteps and other disturbances, and there was a party in the laundry area at 2:00 AM. That shouldn't happen where guests come to sleep, especially with the laundry area open at that hour. When I complained, the staff were unpleasant, smiled ironically, and didn't apologize. I also forgot my key in the room and was charged 200 baht, although the same thing had happened a few days earlier without a charge. It felt like the treatment depended on who I spoke with. After checkout, they wouldn't hold my bag for a few hours unless I booked extra nights, which is very inflexible. A deeply disappointing stay, nowhere near relaxing.
