The owner and service were really good. He was helpful and looked after the guests. The staff didn't speak English, but they called the boss 😀. It's a simple, nice place, though I found it a bit expensive for a room with a shared shower and toilet. There are only a few rooms, so I had them to myself. It's a bit far from downtown, but close to a boat station, which makes travel easy and cheap until 8pm.

The bed creaks when you climb into it 😢. Privacy is poor because the doors don't lock, and you have to share the space with a maid who occupies part of it while cooking in the kitchen and using the shower room. The hygiene was low too, with a smell of urine in the shower room when I checked in.

There's a 7/11 and a few places to eat nearby, and the property itself is maintained well enough. It's a quaint little place tucked in an alley, but the approach road is very narrow, with room for only one large car or van to pass. The staff member who stays there wasn't available at all: they opened the main gate for us, then completely disappeared.

The boat station is fairly close, and the local bus that goes to the sky train passes the end of the street. There are plenty of massage places and nice local restaurants too. The road was quite long, but the owner Puk and her husband Nui gave us a lift to its end in a golf cart. They were lovely, and nothing felt like too much trouble. It really felt like a home from home.
