The rooms are clean, and there’s coffee and noodles available. There’s also a metro station area and a mall with places to eat. But I wouldn’t really recommend it to light sleepers. Street noise carries, and with no elevator, people drag their luggage up the stairs. When they arrive in the evening, it can be disturbing.

We booked three nights at first, then extended to six because we liked it so much. The area is great and doesn’t feel touristy, with the subway just a two minute walk away. Our room was very clean, the air conditioning kept it cool for a comfortable night’s sleep, and the room was serviced every day. They replaced the free bottled water daily, too, and there were snacks you could help yourself to, plus a shared fridge on each floor. The young couple running the place were brilliant. We wish them every success and hope to come back soon. Thanks again!

There’s no lift, just stairs, and the small road beside the place can be noisy now and then. Even so, the location is hard to beat: three minutes on foot to Union Mall and Prahon Yothin Mrt, and eight minutes to Central Ladprao Mall and Ha Laek Lad Prao BTS. There’s lots of tasty street food nearby, and two 7-11s less than a minute away. The room was nice and clean, with free water and a shared fridge. A young couple run the place, and their cute cats hang out in reception. Great value.

After a month traveling around Thailand with my parents, this TD Bangkok was the best place we stayed. We felt at home, and the room was a comfortable size for three, with really comfortable beds. The air conditioning worked great, and they said we could leave it on when we were out since there was no electricity key and the power stayed on. There’s also a nice covered rooftop deck. The stairs are well spaced and not too steep, though every room is at least one flight up. They seemed to have thought of the little things: free water and snacks whenever, soap, shampoo and conditioner, and three prong outlets by every bed. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent and speak Thai, Chinese and English, and maybe more. They also let us store our bags downstairs and play with their kitten. The location is central and convenient, right along the MTA line, though it took us a while to find it. It’s one business back from the main road on a side street, behind a small market store between two 7-elevens. We’d stay again and recommend it, 10 out of 10.
