Teja Hotel

It’s a good hotel, even if it isn’t shiny and new. Our apartment was huge, with two massive bedrooms and king size beds that looked small in those rooms. There’s a nice pool and a gym that’s serviceable. The location is perfect, with Nana plaza a short walk away, restaurants all over, and tons of shopping near Nana Plaza.

The staff were really kind and helpful, and it was a nice place to stay. One bathroom had an unpleasant smell, though, and the living room air-conditioning sometimes got so loud that we had to switch it off to sleep.

Hazel was a great host, and the staff were friendly throughout. The place was very clean and looked like the photos, with a gym and pool too. We had an amazing stay and the service was superb.

The room price seemed low, but at checkout they spent 30 minutes inspecting the room after politely asking if they could check it. They then pointed to a tiny yellow mark on the bedsheet, which looked like something that would wash out. I expected maybe a small cleaning charge, around 200 baht, though I wouldn't have liked it. Instead, he asked for 1,500 baht for the whole bedsheet set. To me, that felt like a made-up way to get more money after advertising a cheap room. I felt scammed, so I'd avoid this place.
