After a 20-hour journey from New Zealand, my partner and I arrived in Bangkok at 1 a.m. for a three-day holiday and went to thai siwilai for the weed bar. Jake and Koy were two of the coolest people we met in Bangkok, and made the place such a great experience that we didn’t visit any other weed shop there. Everything was always clean. We would’ve stayed in the hostel if we hadn’t already booked somewhere. People come to smoke or stay, and there’s a mix of folks to chat with. Thanks, guys, this was the best part of Bangkok!

I first started coming here for weed, a smoke, and a chill, then found out it was a hostel and began staying too. The prices are fair, the staff are sweet and helpful, and it’s a great spot to hang out when you’re taking a break from exploring Bangkok.

There’s a dispensary on the first floor. The place has 24/7 reception, good AC, and very thorough cleaning, and the staff are extremely kind. It’s just far enough off the street to keep the noise from disturbing your sleep, but still easy to reach. The private room with a queen bed and AC was reasonably priced, though the bathroom is shared. It’s not as social as Mad Monkey or some of the bigger hostels, so you could stay here and hang out at other hostels to meet people.

A really nice place to hang out, with a relaxed feel and good music always playing. There’s a PlayStation too if you fancy a game or two of FIFA.
