The Kinn

The room and bathroom were excellent. There’s a table to sit at, a big wardrobe with drawers, a bench for putting things on, and plenty of outlets. The AC doesn’t blow air onto the bed, which is so unusual. The shower has doors. As usual, though, the little fridge is down on the floor and has no freezer, which isn’t good for old people.

The staff were kind and did their jobs well, but the room had a damp smell and ants kept getting into the bed and around the tables. We woke up to them both mornings. Water from the shower also spread across the bathroom floor. The stay was okay, but for an average hotel it felt overpriced, and I wouldn’t book here again.

Getting around was easy from here, and Bangkok Hospital is only about a 12-minute walk away. There’s also a 7-Eleven right next door for late-night snacks. I booked for three people and was pleased with the spacious, clean room, where everything worked properly. The staff were friendly, the food selection was tasty, and finding the hotel or arranging transportation was simple. I had a great stay.

The room photos on The Kinn’s website matched what we actually got, which was reassuring. I booked directly through the site and stayed for a week. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day, and the room service was excellent. There were lots of breakfast choices, plus a rooftop restaurant with a great view and all the facilities I was looking for. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The location worked well for both hospital visitors and people exploring the city. Getting there from Suvarnabhumi airport, and back again, was possible without traffic jams, which saved a lot of time. I don’t usually write hotel reviews, but The Kinn was an exception.
