The Park Nine Hotel Suvarnabhumi

We stayed over Songkran, and our room facing the main road was noisy late into the night. A room facing inward would probably have been quieter. The rest of the hotel was lovely, especially the canal behind it, and the pool area was relaxing. Eat Drink Love, the attached restaurant, looked stunning and served genuinely excellent food at reasonable prices. There's plenty of shopping within easy walking distance too. The Park Nine Hotel Suvarnabhumi was our final stop because of the airport, about four minutes away. They arranged a complimentary transfer at 4 a.m. and a thoughtful breakfast bag, making the early departure easy. Comfortable, well located, and with great service and amenities. Knowing what we know now, we'd happily have stayed longer.

The hotel feels peaceful and relaxing, even though it's conveniently close to the airport. I had a smooth, well looked after arrival, with staff who were warm and attentive without hovering. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a great bed that was just what I needed after a long day. I also liked the small touches in the room, which gave the stay a more premium feel. We had an amazing time at Park Nine Hotel.

If airport shuttle service is why you're considering this hotel, I wouldn't count on it being reliable. We couldn't get clear directions to the airport pickup point and had to ask airport security, who did know where it was. Arranging the drop-off was messy too. Expedia only sent an AI response when we tried to reserve, and the hotel initially said it was full when we asked at check-in. Only after other guests said they needed a ride did the hotel say they'd arrange an extra car. We were grateful, but many guests choose this place for airport access, and we had tried to book. On drop-off day, staff split luggage into two piles without telling anyone which car was for whom. When the first car arrived, some guests got in thinking it was the only one, then were told to get off and wait. We had our bags and were lucky to be in that first car, but a front desk staff member opened the door at the last minute to ask whether one of us was in room 6xx, apparently to sort something out. It all felt extremely disorganized. Our room was spacious and the pool looked nice, though we didn't use it. We didn't find it as noisy as some reviews suggested. There were only a few squares of toilet paper left and no extra roll. The restaurant was quite good, and its staff were friendly and professional. For service and other general considerations, I'd rate this as a three-star hotel.

The rooms were spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, though the doorman seemed unhappy. We'd say hello, even in Thai, and he'd just stare without answering, which gave us the impression he didn't want to be there. The hotel is quiet, and the pool area is laid out nicely. Restaurants and malls are within walking distance, so the location is reasonably good.
